Ok ladies of my life I have news... The man we all lust for - JD is reportedly doing 2-3 upcoming movies for Disney - The Lone Ranger as Tonto, Tim Burton's "Alice In Wonderland" as the Mad Hatter (no shock there - he's in every Tim film). And give me an ugh and a drum role for this one... Yes believe it or not I said UGH for the next thing... The next one stems from Disney's ability to NOT leave well enough alone - no they get something successful and they have to add on to it until they beat the horse beyond dead..
Ok so I'll spill already - Disney Studio's president, Dick Cook, announced on September 24, 2008 that Disney promises to "throw in" another Pirates of the Caribbean movie - Yes number 4 - for "good measure".
I love JD and I loved Pirates 1, 2 and 3 but what in the neck could 4 possibly be about??? Can't they leave well enough alone? I'm kind of surprised that JD is going to do this, but whatever. It's still supposedly just a rumor, but the above statements were quoted from the Disney Studio's president at the Walt Disney Studios Showcase. The balance of the rumor is that Elizabeth and Will will not be part of the 4th movie, but rather this will be more about Jack, Barbossa, the Fountain of Youth and a "super natural terror"... Hmmm - thinking "whatever".
