Well, after my post of Lake Placid... I was determined to post a good one. I really enjoy this movie. It is one of my comfort movies. My feel good movie (among others).
I like the fantasy of it all. It is an escape. An escape that has romance, comedy, adventure, sibling rivalry, etc. This movie has all of the elements of a good fantasy. Right up to a "happily ever after".
Eyes balls in a jar (that bit cracks me up every time), a kiss, a damsel in distress, the hope of a kiss, Robert De Niro in ... watch and see (that's worth it right there), magic, oh I forgot where I was going with this bit.
It's a nice story to relax to at the end of a bad day - it takes you away even if only for a little bit.
